Overview
A venture fund needed a morning where deals could actually start: great coffee, food that didn't interrupt, and pitches kept brutally short. We set a dawn buffet, briefed three founders to eight minutes each, and had term sheets discussed before most offices opened.
Services used: catering, speaker briefing and venue.
The challenge
Breakfast that means business
Investor mornings die when food queues eat networking time. We ran two mirrored buffet lines and poured coffee to tables, so nobody ever stood in line.
The approach
Eight minutes, one bell
Each founder got a rehearsal, a clicker and a hard stop. The constraint made the pitches better — and left forty minutes for real conversation.
“Ninety guests, three pitches, out by ten — and the pastries are still mentioned in our Monday meeting.”Fund Partner
